Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Service
Filter Exchange Program  ○  Grease Containment Systems  ○  Service Drives

Typical Upblast fan.

Hinged fans are tipped for cleaning. Complete fan cleaning will consist of not only the fan tub, but also the fan blades. Notice fan is free of grease and debris (blades and tub). Fans that are not hinged will be removed from the duct and cleaned.
While all parts of the exhaust system are important, proper maintenance to ensure optimum efficiency of the exhaust fan is vital. Without the exhaust fan, there is no exhaust system. This is where the cleaning and service of the system begins. A professional kitchen exhaust service provider will maintain a 3’ radius of the fan (provided that there is a grease containment system in place or there is not an exiting grease problem on the roof top.)

Typical Utility Fan or Supreme Fan (not pictured)

Same criteria for cleaning these types of fans. Utility fans MUST have access panels to access all areas of the fan. If not, inaccessible areas will be documented.

These tubs are located inside the fan (pics 1 and 2). They need to be removed for proper cleaning. Previous contractors were not removing them, and therefore, they required a lot of manual scraping to remove the excess build-up.
